General hello, new but deciding...

hi all, i am on a hunt for a bravo max a 1.4, now i have a choice of two. a W reg 1.2 80 SX with FSH and 67k on clock or a 1.4SX R reg for same price and 58k on clock. wich one to go for as in reliability ? prety much same price but 130 miles away from each other. the 1.4 is not far from me but the other that i seem to want more is well far but at a very good price. please advise

the 1.4 is slower, uses way more fuel, and is far less reliable. plus they have oil circulation problems leading to severe camshaft wear. i wouldnt be surprised if it already has camshaft problems at 58k.

the 1.2 replaced the 1.4 and it is much much better. get the 1.2.

Get the 1.2, they are much better than the 1.4 they replaced.

Get the 1.4. You'll learn much more about the internal workings of the Fiat 12v internal combustion engine

Yeah go for the 1.2. I've got a 1.4 I dont they are as bad as what every makes out. But there is no denying they take alot of tlc so you don't klive out the horror stories. On the plus side plenty of 1.4's in the scrappy.
