General Heating

Hi All,

The heating on my Grande Punto 2008 has decided to stop working (not fun in this december cold!) I changed the resistor a few months back as had no blowers at all - now its blowing cold which ever setting i have it on and doesn't warm up at all.

Any thoughts/ helpful ideas will be appreciated

if the temperature on the gauges on the dash is rising and sitting in the middle as it should do, then its likely to be an airlock in the system preventing the water from circulating into the cabin, this basically needs the air bleeding out of the system which is a complete arse on these cars, I had a similar problem on mine and eventually managed to get the heater working by running water around the system with a garden hose to push the air out of where it was trapped
