Technical Heating, Rear Demister, Cigg Lighter and Full Beam

I have an 07 plate Fiat Grande Punto. I was recently having a problem with it wherby, the heating, full beam, cigg lighter and rear demister were all working then stoping working then strating again (all at the same time). I have checked the fuses, the fact that they were starting and stoping working put me of thinking it was the fuses, but it wasn't them. At this cold time of year, it's less than ideal when you can't drive your car to work. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? I'm keen to have it sorted without getting ripped of as I really like the car which I've had since new.

Long shot but open the bonnet and check the condition of the fuse box near the battery. Make sure its all dry and well sealed in there.
