Hi, I have read all the useful threads about heating problems people have been experiencing and I have the same problem too.

I looked inside my glove box and looked at the 'fuse box' bit and I think I have some fuse missing.

Please could someone explain what I am looking at please. :confused:

like above said check the resistor in the right hand corner under the glove box mine stopped working on 4 but worked on 123 so i checked the cable under the glove box it just un clips and that's what i found also one of the pins on the resistor had melted as well if that it the case order the following if needed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321093206935?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

or you can just buy a new heater wiring loom

you've LOST ME..!!,

1, there is a water filled radiator inside the dashboard;

if the water TEMP gauge ( on dash~) gets to half-way in @ 5 mins of engine running this SHOULD be fine..,
if TEMP is good and NO HEAT then you've probably got a water FLOW problem = airlock / low coolant

2, FAN doesn't blow air from dash into cabin;

power supply fault to fan..OR leaves / parking tickets inide heater box stopping fan from turning..,

see GUIDE on stripping fan unit, GP section..;)

check fan spins( by hand) ..then try on all 4 settings,

#4 ONLY = means knackered resistor pack..!!(n)

the resistor pack slows down the fan..;)
no pack = no slowing down,

let us know what you find,

PS your "missing" fuses, are spaces for electrical KIT your car doesn't have..!! ( STEALTH , air-brakes, etc) ; - }

Wish I had Stealth mode on mine :(

No hot air time to rip the car apart

does the heater matrix pipe work get hot?

you get to them by removing the lhs plastic trim

https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto-guides/149411-how-install-replace-pollen-cabin-filter.html

3rd pic down in the main section you can see the silver rectangle that sits at about 30 degrees \ with the 2 silver pipes with the car warm do these pipes get hot...

they should soon get warm....

You do have water in the coolant header tank don't you? and the engine warms up ok / car drives fine and the temperature gauge on the dash works???

IF not DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR and get it towed to a garage the coolant system might be faulty could be low on coolant due to a leak or a air lock or a failed water pump as such serious damage can occur to the engine
