Technical heater matrix....

hi guys i just got a 2004 1.9 doblo... 12000 miles!...but heater matrix is shot.... anybody removed/replaced one??? remove dash? or can it be got at from engine bay?..is it difficult...or just time consuming???

haven't had to take the dash apart myself but there are others on the forum that have so you should get some advice soon
12,000 miles is really good for an 04, only just up to it's first service. That's a good find.

hi thanks for reply, yes good find...its a bit green./moss..been idle for over a year...but otherwise mint. got it for 3300!.. had a quick look... matrix appears to be at bottom of dash..just in front of handbrake...at least thats where the pipes enter... will attack it from there...hopefully will be possible to do it from there with a bit of stripping

there is a thread about removing the upper dash here but it probably won't be much help to you, I can't remember anyone having problems with the heater matrix.
Good luck with it and let us know how you get on.
