General No heater 2016 1.6 (fuse OK new resister pack)

How's things.
Have read the threads on lack of heater in the doblo and been troubleshooting the standard places.
The f8 40 amp fuse is fine.
The resistor back behind glove box looked a bit rusty so got a new one but still nothing.
When the dash is illuminated, the heater lights aren't so I presume it's getting no power.
Before I dig into it Can I just run a switched 12v to it or what is best way to attack it. Thanks

General advice:

Try and access the fan

See if it's full of leaves,

Or so rusty it cannot spin

Then try and feed it 12 volts


IF the fan works OK, work backwards

The old Mk2 puntos were bad for all this..
I've not dealt with a van...

You could also try the percussive method - give the blower unit a good hard smack

Didnt even consider the blower to be faulty.. Will tip away at this and report back. Thanks
