Technical Heater fan not working 2014 doblo van

It's a while since I've used the Forum as the van's been superb up until now.
The problem is with the heater fan not working.
I've proved the fan works with additional power to it,I've also replaced the resister with a brand new one from Fiat, still no joy.
There's nothing at all coming into any terminal at the fan power wise.
The fuse F08 seems to the one for the fan? that's been checked all's good,there no scorching/burnt wires or connectors anywhere that I can see.
Has anybody had a problem with the fan contol switch?.
Has anyone got any ideas?

On a similar note, my fan wouldn't run no matter what I tried. My mechanic (youngest son, it's why we have them!) checked all the fuses, all ok, crawled under the glove box, pulled out the motor & put it on his bench. Added 12v and it sprung to life. He tested for power at the connector, all was well. he blew off millennia of accumulated detritus with his airline, reattached the fan & it runs just fine.
Interestingly, when I first bought the motor, I had a problem with the fan not running. Took it back to the dealer who said that it ran fine, as soon as they turned it on, it ran on all speeds - yet, for me, it was as dead as the proverbial dodo.
