Technical Hatch lock not working

Does anyone know how to open the hatch manually as the button in the car and on the fob do not open it. I had this fixed 2 years ago and it has happened again. Arnold clark charges a fortune to fix it.

you talking about the boot (tailgate)


fold seats down

feel round boot lock (immsmc drivers side) there is a catch press it and boot will open

Once you get it open give the lock a good going over with a dewetting spray - wd40 will do. Best to remove the boot trim first as they will give proper access to the lock and give you a change to examine the wiring and dry it off if required.

part in £25 odd, fit it yourself.....surprised arnold has energy to fix cars as he must be 80 odd years old now?
