I'm just doing a Foundation Art and Design course then maybe going to Uni for Fine Art degree...

your mate wasn't Rongsheng Zhang was it? The chem eng building was amazing though, v modern.

No @ friend, he's doing product design engineering - extremely talented mathematician but loves the course and Bath he was told is the best.

Post grads are funny IME, the one that does our maths swears at me when I ask him to do work and says "thank **** for that! [when we answer a question right] now i can txt my gf!" - He's lazy, doesn't have a clue about our menial crap work but obviously is amazing! The others do our tutiorials and always took way above us Ah well.

Yeah I found that...I was doing work I felt a trained monkey could do but had to constantly explain it and they were doing some seriously involved genetics stuff that I could barely comprehend on the most basic levels.

ay, arts is cool...don't want to help evolve the world necessarily only make it more beautiful.

A lot of people at uni are like that, they get confused with stuff that's dead simple and dead complicated and switch between them without noticing, you just learn to do the best you can. It's annoying but you can't do anything else.

I just think you have more of an intelligence to make use of outside studying that. (this could be misunderstood, I don't mean you're dumb more making that choice, i mean I think you have enough brains to do something more, more productive ) - hope it makes sense.

Funnily enough Krusty, my missus has to do Biochem as part of her Applied Biomedical Science degree and she is far from boring or square.

Even more amsuing, her first degree was in natural history illustration, so be careful you could end up doing biochem yet.

I should also mention that I think the best subjects are physics related, purely because most people into physics seem completely mad.

and then 30 seconds later when it was still going:

What is this need to abbreviate. I had a mate called Kevin Brown who used to abbreaviate so much, it was difficult to understand him, but he did it in speech. He once asked a friend "Did you wear you Ox' Bag's to your int' at Hav' Col'?
