Geek warning

Maxi why you hate apple so much you would not have wysiwyg if not for Apple bringing it to mainstream :D

Guess what I bought from Tesco last week, iPad2, 64gb, 3G, don't know why I waited, its great little thing (till the next one comes along with Retina dsplay).

Like apple since 80s, but you know what I use a Dell PC as MS Office is crap on Macs (MS are lazy and can't see a market on Macs) yes I know about dual boot and have a virtual machine running on Macbook Air already sharing wifi via a secondary Airport Express which also connects iTunes to the hifi, which links to AppleTV using MacMini server (unix based of course) and then the iMac for daughter and iPhones and iTouches oh yes an old iBook is almost resigning. But you know what the Dell stops once a day and my other daughter complains her HP laptop is crashing...

Geek speak over :slayer:

Well, tried using the velcro attachment and secured it to the side of the boot.

It fell off on the first journey!
Ha ha!! What a brilliant and typically Fiat design solution!

I just thought it's the most sensible place to keep the whole wallet as it's got the service record, etc. Always done so with other cars, so seemed the right thing to do here.

Personally I worry that a hoody who breaks into my car will see a "wallet" and nick it - bang goes your service history.

I think it is better to keep it in the house (or at most keep the manual in the car by itself, not the whole wallet).

I'm worried that the hoody that breaks into my house will steal it, lol. :)

To date the house has been burgled twice and my cars nil so on aggregate it is safer in my car.

That said, I still keep it in the house. ;)

If they can get into your house your car isn't safe unless of course you bring the keys of the car to bed with you. ;)

From my last 'break in' it triggered us moving house so now I'm OTT on securing the house at night. Fort Knox alarm system hooked up to monitoring surveillance. Works out cheaper that paying the government another wallop of Stamp duty - you wouldn't see much change out of a 695 Ferrari.

I always just keep the service part seperate (and secure) along with MOT and Insurance certificates with the passports etc. I like to have the handbook in the car too incase I get a warning light pop up that I want to check [while I'm some distance away from home] and I don't have an ipad :)

Mine was stuck to the side of my boot for 3 years without a single problem...

Oh, and I have an iMac and an iBook but an Android phone! Ooh, controversial! :p

Not even sure I know what an iBook is?

And there's nothing wrong with Android - it's for those that want something more than a boring old iPhone that can't surf the web properly!
