Have you thought of putting a diesel in yours ? A chap of your skills could do this. Will take a bit of thinking about. You could use fallout as the prototype to check it works before fitting it in talon. May be a 1.4 citroen / peougeot unit or if a fiat engine already exists,
with a conversion plate bell housing ?

Diesels do have a lower rev limit won't have the same top speed using your current transmission,

Ps,
rusty won't forgive you if you sell talon, iv still got part of an old leaf spring and rusty/ holed fuel tank for you

yeah, maybe when fallout is complete and ive had my fun with him, ill let some one else enjoy him.

if i make any cash on the sale ill look for a 2 wheel drive panda and also look for a multijet mark 2 engine and full electronics, maybe even buy a whole scrap car with a multijet mk2 engine.. then just swap over everything i need to to make the engine and gearbox fit in a fiat panda classic.

it will be a worthy experiment but i think ill need to invest in an engine hoist first... or 2.. haha
