Hi Guys,

Sorry i missed the rolling road day, got stuck out in India on business :yuck: ....

Just been reading the results 205ish BHP 190Ft/lbs looks very interesting!!

Are there any side effects of the remap / induction kit. i.e. reduced MPG ECU errors blah blah blah..

Who do i have to pay and when can i have it done....

Come On!!!! :slayer:

There are some serious side effects of the remaps and induction kits...

Huge power, massive torque gains, and an absolutely awesome engine sound! also type-r's are getting killed everywhere, and BMW 325i drivers are very worried indeed... :)

on a more serious note, we are all getting errors, some with more than others. engine faults codes are caused by the map not putting in enough fuel below 3k rpm and the asr/abs faults are something to do with steering sensors possibly.

Nick is trying to organise a re-run to get the maps tweaked. Im not sure when though... NICK!!!

my car is running much better now though, the ecu seems to have learnt the map a bit better and my MPG has improved although i have to put my foot down in every gear just to hear the roar!

Rob (1.8stilo) any luck with the vids yet? sorry to pester but im dying to see them!

Re: Stilo Rolling Road shootout / Tuning day...

And the worst side effect is a sheared engine mount
But that could be down to other things, such as absolutely booting the car as fast as i possibly can, just as stilochris said... Just to hear the induction noise.

Ordered part today for mount, but came back wrong, so my dealer gave me a new Eper disk, to identify the part myself.

Back on the road in two days hopefully (y)

make sure you shut all 5 phil... :)

Edit: any news of when the tweaks to the maps wil be done? ive had a couple of scary moments with no abs or asr in the wet. A nice aquaplane sideways at 80mph always puckers the butthole a bit!
