hi i have a fiat punto 1.2 60 hp x reg mk 2 I recently had my front dampers and top mounts replaced but ever since ive had a major grinding noise when i turn left sounded like spring but unsure as it looks fine any ideas ???

Hello & welcome to the Forum.

You've accidentally posted in the Classic Panda section - there's a mk2 Punto section if you look under cars.

Having said that, it sounds like something hasn't been refitted properly, or maybe something caught in a disc guard. You don't have mudflaps do you, as they can make a horrible noise if loose?

Whatever the cause, take it back to whoever did the work. If it started when the work was done, get them to put it right. (y)

on the strut top in the inner wing theres a little metal lip that needs to be pointing to the wing when wheels in straight ahead position,if this isnt fitted this way then you would get grinding on lock
