just whack megasquirt or something on it and tune it to your hearts content.. I'm sure i saw plenty of supercharged hgts back in the day when mk2s were newer. nothing is impossible and there is some decent aftermarket ecus out there that dont break the bank, dont need anything particularly fancy

£600+ harness and that's provided the immobiliser doesn't crap itself.

The 16V JTD manifold looks like a potential turbo prospect for the HGT but I need to sell my Alfa 145 before I can do anything.

Come to think of it I still have the base plate and four branch Bravo HLX manifold in my shed. I could make a turbo manifold from that.

How comes you're selling the Alfa, out of interest?

My track day Cinquecento was smashed by an uninsured driver. I had to sell the conversion parts to buy the tyres for the HGT. The next track day is in seven weeks and I don't want to put the Punto through that again.

The alternative is to sell the HGT.

You guys know I paid £500 for the car, cost me £100 to get home and £180 on fresh Uniroyal Rainsport 3 tyres.

£600 would do it.

Fair enough. Sell the Alfa then, lol!

Either or really. I gave my Cinquecento to a mate who has been doing bodywork for thirty odd years to teach his grandson how and it can be his first car. (y)

If the HGT were to sell whoever buys the old girl can continue the thread.

The trouble is, that particular HGT needs to go to someone who'll cherish it as it is, rather than try to "improve" it, whereas the Alfa will be more likely to find an owner who is a genuine enthusiast rather than a chav.

Have you seen the link to the Zoe yellow one?

Nothing it sacred. ;)

At least my HGT has a fan base here who I know will look after her. I also have a set of Sporting wheels as spares.

...Bleaugh!

Marked as sold (again) now. I'll see what parts they have as well.
