No bother! That's where I decided not to do it can you not get one of those gel stickers to use?

Think you can, but would probably look naff....im in no rush so will just keep an eye out for one. Im not even mithered if the airbag has gone off aslong as the badge is ok

Has anyone got any idea's on removing locking wheel bolts? I have just one that is stuck! I reckon it's gone out of shape a little and I can't budge it

Is the key bent also? Also is it aftermarket locking or fiat ones?

Yeah they are original Fiat ones, the key is misshaped a bit. But I think it's the bolt that has gone out of shape!

No I went for some Mcgard ones, look the same as Fiat parts. They were £20 vs £35 ish for Fiat

Update!

Service done now, gearbox oil changed. Mechanic managed to get my knackered locking wheel bolt off! Result!! ? he also noticed a coolant leak, oh bugger! But turned out to only be a loose bleed screw. Another result! Code read the car and reset service indicator, all ok!

Only thing to note was a corroded rear spring, so will probably have to get that done before mot time!

So she's good to go....after 6 months plus off the road, doing various jobs, I think it's all systems go!

Managed to get a full new key and swap blade and internals over, job done

We'll today was the day I have been waiting for! After months off the road, car is taxed, insured and serviced.

First drive resulted in lots (and lots) of blue smoke out of the back end! Not good, but after a couple of miles it cleared and she loosened up. Brakes got freer and the turbo was spooling nicely! Up to temp and No warning lights, no running probs. all in all a good 20 odd miles done. I'm a happy chappy ?
