The key is ok I think, 3 of the bolts come off ok. It's just one locking bolt appears to have gone misshaped, so you can't get enough leverage on it to undo

After some thought I'm thinking of selling up, I reckon it is one of the best standard gp sporting's available today! Pm me with any interest

I've given some thought to a passat estate or an a4 estate lately.
Or maybe even an octavia estate.

Well the gp was always a second car, we have an Altea FR tdi aswell so no real rush to buy anything

Altea is awesome, comfy, smooth, very quick (170 bhp) plenty of a space and loads of toys. Not had any issues with it , the missus loves it!!
Its always been the interior that has put me off seats. The leon has such a boring dash. The GP has spoiled me really, imo one of the best looking interiors of small cars its age.

Yeah the gp interior is nice! ?
The Altea dash is a little different to the leon but is similar. Typical VW group dash really, they are all much of a muchness lol! Although I do love the red dash/clock illumination, looks great at night!
Ye ive been in a remapped 2.0tdi leon same engine as yours im guessing and that flew and i agree on the interior red lighting. Think my heat is set on the a4, my pocket pulls towards the passat, but common sense the octavia, however then my right foot pulls away from the octavia to the vrs, newer diesel version would be great but still to expensive atm.

Yeah you can map and dpf delete the altea/leon fr tdi's to over 200bhp! Oh I do like those new Octavia Vrs' very nice, even the older shape still looks well
Ye and god did it feel like it. Insurance isnt a fan of my atm though, getting used to paying less than £1000 now a year. If i could get a swap for one of those 3 cars under 70k mile in a decent engine and trim level i think id take it tbh.

I'm 23 with a Manchester postcode, which from your profile im guessing you can appreciate. Paying around £850 fully comp with my no claims protected and my renewals for September look around the £650 mark so I'm happy.
However im guessing this is the bit where you say "i only pay pennies because im old"?

Haha well I'm 38 so I guess in some peoples eyes that is old! Even when I had my punto gt (at 21) I only paid £700..times have changed!
