General Grande Punto Series 2 Closes

It has just been announced by Fiat UK that..

...ordering of the current Grande Punto (Series 2) will close on Wednesday 15th July in preparation for the launch of the Grande Punto Facelift.

The launch of the Grande Punto Facelift is planned to take place in late January 2010 and stock of this model will not be available before this date.

Looks like there won't be much in the way of new Grande Punto available for the last few months of this year...

Genuinely interested in the Mk2.

From the shots we'v seen, the interior looks alot more fancy. I wonder how it'll affect the price tag.

Looks like I will have to order soon if I want a GP this year.

This has made me think twice about whether to order one now though.

Don't think I could afford one if the price went up by much though, or the discount wasnt as good.

They probably have loads already built. Only need to order quick if you want factory options or less popular colours.

I want the t-jet in white with dual zone climate control and two tone alloys, so will need a factory order.

The interior on the new GP does look better, but the interior on the current GP aint bad
