yeah i read this article at work today - a cool £320m a year!!

but it is believable - just driving to work everyday i see cars with extra touches, aftermarket alloys etc, i see a nice silver bravo on my way to work - he's never been on here though hopefully he'll see my sticker one day

I hate the way articles like this always show crap cars. Take this one for instance. You've got someone with a potentially beautiful Supra who's ruined his car due to the fact that he's got no imagination and could only think to build a copy of the Fast & Furious car. Then there's a Corsa which brings a whole new meaning to the term "Dogs Dinner"!
Why don't they ever show subtle, tastefully modified cars...
Then perhaps fewer people would think all owners of modified cars wear Burberry caps and try to do burn-outs in car parks!

At least they aint slagging people like me off! i am a modder and hate the image that comes with it! But i love my bravo more then i care about other peoples oppinions! at least people are realising that most of us dont race! but instead treasure and respect our cars! more then most people!

I would love to stick some body kit and bigger wheels on my little car, but all our extra cash goes on something far more expensive at the moment, who is sleeping peacefuly up stairs...at least till about 5am I hope

ChrisR you have hit the nail on the head there - they never show subtly modified cars!
You know sure might have non-standard alloy wheels but mostly: subtle (often unique) mods that have had some thought gone into them, expresses oneself much more than a combat kit on a RED corsa!
Tis good people are starting to realise that most of us don't race our cars running over anything in sight!
