I was actually going to use it, Grumbleweeds is pretty grotty so it would have given me a risk free one to tidy up and put in.

got exactly nothing for scrap. Completely stripped so had to get it collected and in the end I was glad just to find someone who would take it away. First few scrappers I contacted wouldn't even take it.
surprised at that, i have people asking if they can take mine but i need to remove door locks and catches yet then its finished with, i am gonna chop it half and take to metal recyclers to see how much i get scrap...

If you take it you'll get something but collected you won't. Scrap price isn't the best ATM and a shell only weights 300, possibly 400kg max. Not much really.
Got £75 for mine recently.
Took the shell from our spares car (bare shell, with 2 doors, no tailgate, and no mechanical parts at all) recently to be weighed in and got £58. Getting it collected for free isn't a bad deal to me, saves the hassle!
i just want to try and recoup some money back from buying it as a donor, every bit helps towards the paint as i wreckon this is the costly part.
