Technical Glove Box catch

Glove Box on my punto mk2 would not open. Dismantled and found there is a small L shaped cast metal piece that pushes the bit that unlatches the door. The nib end of this has fractured off and so it does not push the plastic catch down far enough. I have removed the broken part but it is a custom piece. Can this part be purchased as all I need to do is put a new one in and then the door will work fine for another 20 years.

Nope you can’t buy it, your choices are to make your own version by what ever means you can, or buy a new glove box off eBay/scrap yard
