Beat me to it - I was going to say that there must be an external bleed

I found a photo that seems to suggest it will be accessible from above near where the oil supply pipe dives inside the gear box. It looks brittle!!

Flashing odometer seems to be a common sign of Blue&Me unit failing. Will drain the battery too, even with ignition off.

Been down this path before……….luckily now and then, not a drain issue.
