Styling Gear knob.

So, the other day after cleaning my Fiat Punto MK2 i took the gear knob gaiter off and the piece of plastic holding the gaiter to the stick snapped so I am in need of a new one.

my gearstick is a lift to reverse and so this has narrowed my range of gearknobs. This is super annoying:bang:

would it possible if, i bought a new gaiter to attach to my gear knob and attach it below the lift reverse collar.
Then, if i buy just a gear knob head and place that on the gear stick and thus keep the lift reverse but widen my choice of gear knobs???

Aye it's a bugger when you have problems with your knob, I suspect it'll be what comes up on offer for knobs, as you say limited choice. Yes about the coller & your knob. I would keep looking.

Do not take the knob off it is bonded to the metal.

look in the GUIDES, the Alfa upgrade handbrake make also do a knob swap
