Morning Chaps.

As can be seen on attached picture one of the fuses has been removed and the cable from this piggy backed onto the fuse next to it? I know this because I found the fuse bolts and nut in the glove box, no sign of the fuse though so not sure of the rating.

Any idea why this has been done? and what rating would of been there in the first place.

The car is a 07 1.4 dualogic and basic research leads me to believe the cable is for the gearbox pump.

Has anyone seen similar? and shall I try and rectify of leave as is?

Cheers
Mike

Hi,
You should fit a new fuse but as the circuit is still protected by the fuse the lead was moved to it's not very urgent. The owners handbook will give the rating. Someone probably did a repair or shorted the wiring during maintenance and did not have a spare fuse. At least they did not just short the fuse out.
