Don't know if that's gonna be salvaged in time for my daughter to get home tonight!

IF you don't get a new HT LEAD

Maybe see IF the rubber sleeve will hold it back in contact enough the transmit spark

Or..

Use sharp knife..
Cut down the boot..

Prise open the contactor sleeve and ping out that broken tip

Use something insulating over the slit section kits amazing how little you need

Do you have thin nose pliers?
If yes insert them then pull the handles apart to expand the contact of the ht lead.
Pull out broken part of plug.

Arrgh, you wont believe it, as it was a crappy view I assumed that I could see the broken tip and was getting nowhere using my thin nose pliers so simply thought "in for a penny" and split the rubber skirt as in the picture. Guess what? The tip of the spark plugs not there, I should have just tried it on a spark plug to see! Ah well, I'll buy a new set now as don't think they are available singly and the slice i made is likely to allow moisture in.

IF you need it to drive home

Tape it up and slide finger of a Marigold glove over it 😉

Path of least resistance is still the Plug gap

I Had an old Renault that WASN'T a x-flow design

Exhaust heat shield had cut a plug lead..
Rotating it 90 degrees stopped any arcing. 👍
