Morning,
54plate panda petrol
Car was running fine but time for MOT and service.
So booked it in and had usual done.
When I picked it up there was a strange noise when driving.
Sounded like a slight exhaust leak
Took it back mechanic said there was a slight nick ( done by them) in the breather hose.
He said he had shortened it to remove nick as pipe was long enough and was now sorted.
Noise gone but now getting smell of fumes through air vents particularly when idling .
Is this related or separate?
I looked at breather pipe. Seems ok
No exhaust leaks
Gasket from air filter body onto throttle valve seems a bit loose but not excessive.
Any ideas please??

Didn't notice anything with ventilation fan off
As soon as I switched the blower on we were hit with oily fumes
So I've glued the hose back together and stuck it back on until replacement arrives

Edit: wait 21k miles?! What the
