cheers bushboy, yeah full respray inside and outside so it'll be a minter all round!! going for the same colour as its original then. original colour and original bodywork (sort of anyway)

here it goes on the back of a trailer, will get photos as its being welded up

cheers liam, yeah all genuine parts matey, apart from the rear arch lips but thats only cos i didnt want to get whole rear quarters from fiat!

nah not busing it to work. im in partnership with my mum (bought into the buisness) so we go to work together in the company van. also insured on the family toyota avensis cdx (all the toys) so drive that too. theres only me, mum and dad so even when my car is off the road theres still two other motors to use between us! so plenty to go round hehe!

all dog slow compared to uno tho!! i think when i finish uno, im gonna get a saff cossie (still keep uno for track days tho )

right, been up to the car today for a quick look and he's getting on well with it

he said he doesnt think i should get it seem welded tho as its probably not worth it and its goin to take away my crumple zones so i gotta seriously think weather its worth the extra £400 to have it done!

anyway a few piccys for yas all!

as you can see he's fitted the two new rear turrets and the rear panel. its looking sooooo much healthier already lol!

:woot: That looks much better, not much more to do on the back by the looks of if, I guess its on with the wings and then off to be painted? when is it of for the respray? can't wait to see it back in its former glory.

EDIT: What was going to be seam welded? The roll cage?

yeah looks loads better huh!

not quite done yet tho, gotta get new sill fitted both inside and out, few plates welding in here and there, etc. should be done by the weekend.

Then its off to my mates to get the doors fitted, wings fitted and all bodywork sorted with full respray

was going to get the shell seem welded, but may not now dunno. might be selling my roll cage..........gonna get a full one made up by him with double diaganol in the rear....hardcore!!

EDIT: just rang up gotta get the acutal chassis welded up and a new section put in so not going to be ready till monday nit maybe tuesday morning :bang:

Dunc, don't go for the seam welding. I was reading Practical performance magazine and they say this is really only usefull on a full time trackday car. Save your dosh !

hey pinin, cheers mate. just had a read through and your right. not gonna go for it. it'll be stiff enough with my full cage anyway!

been up to see it today, no pics tho as i was only passing and didnt have my camera, sorry peeps! but its looking alot better, still alot to do tho. p/s sill is on, inner sill is on. gotta get new floor pans tho!! bugger!

Thats the problem when you start taking stuff apart, you discover how much more work you need to have done... Still its going to be looking A1 by the time you've got it all back to gether...
