does any1 know about the fse power boost valves... what they are, how they work, the power gains involved etc..
ah yes and will it circumcise my fuel consumption??

I bought one and fitted it to my Ford Orion 1.6 a few years back and they are crap crap crap. I paid nearly 90 quid for it and they make absolutely no noticeable difference whatsoever. Don't bother mate you'll be wasting your money. Spend it on an induction kit and at least you will notice a bit more and it will look great under the bonnet.

More power needs more fuel which means less MPG.

Can't have more of one without less of the other.

these are excellent, everyone should get one.

they increase your engine hp by 75%, they improve your fuel consumption and reduce the exhaust emissions.

they make you more attractive to girls, make you more productive at work (getting you a pay rise), stop the ageing process and clear up hang overs.

On fuel injected cars, there is a fuel pressure regulator, which maintanes constant fuel pressure for the injectors on the engine. An FSE power valve is simply a replacement which allows you to up the pressure thus allowing more fuel into the engine. In my opinion not really worthwile unless you got a tuned engine even the you'll be better of having the engine management "chipped".

I've fitted one, noticeable increase in performance after 4000 revs.

However, I've had a catalogue of ECU problems since fitting, resulting in me splashing out in a hell of a lot of money to FIAT (the ony bastards that have the diagnostic equipment) and being rescued by the RAC five times in 6 months.

I'd never buy a bravo which had the valve
fitted, but try to forget I said that when I attempt to sell my motor in the next 2 months.
