I was just outside checking my Stilo, and I tried to use the windscreen washer, but for some reason it didn't work.
I have checked the fuse, and that seems OK, and I am having problems locating what is the issue, since the headlamp washers do work.
When I operate the stalk to wash the front or rear windscreen, the wipers start moving (which suggests that the problem is not the stalk), but there is no sound from the washer pump (suggesting that maybe it is the pump that is the problem). However, when I turn on the headlights and pull the stalk, the headlamp washers work and washer fluid is sprayed onto the headlamps (which, since as far as I know the pump used for the headlamp washer is the same as the pump used for the windscreen, suggests that the pump is not the problem after all). And if the problem is blocked pipes, then shouldn't I still have heard the pump operating?
Does anyone know what may be the problem in this case?
(I believe it may be an intermittent problem, since I experienced the same a few days ago, and it started working after a while, and has been OK up until now.)
