Time to do some searching, but, what wheels are you using?
If 14s you can put Punto GT discs and calipers on, covered in detail in the guides section.
If 13s, Uno turbo set up.

ps, I've just read your other post. Insurance at your age is going to be like anal rape without lube for a standard car. Modifications are going to push it even further up.
The car weighs as much as a snotty hanky, just make sure the standard braking system is in perfect condition and you will have no difficulty stopping.

As above, I use my cinq for trackdays and just some updated discs and pads do a plenty good enough job

Agreed, i use mine for autotesting and the brakes can take a real hammering on some of the big tests. Ive just fitted Brembo pads and they are far superior to the standard spares shop items.
I took it out yesterday on Whitchurch Motor Club's Prees Heath airfield autotest and it stopped faultlessly on loads of really big corners after long straights.
Get your handbrake working properly (it will be better than on rear discs unless you have £££silly to spend on a hydraulic handbrake kit) and you will have more fun than you can shake a stick at.
If you must go down the modded route, i insure with Reis motorsport who allow me unlimited modifications, 5000 road miles and unlimited track miles for £200 a year, but i've no idea what it would cost for a new driver.
You will need to join a recognised motor club though, but you might then like to try it out against other like minded people and have a good thrash without worrying about flashing blue lights in your mirror!!!
You can compete from 14 years of age - my daughter started at 14 and now she is nearly 16 she beats me on about 20% of tests.
It also gets the adrenaline out of your system in a controlled safe environmenr, making you a better road driver ( well, some of the time!!)
