Spoke to tony at t4p who mapped my car and my car will be fine to use the actuator with stiffer springs and he said a safe level to take it up to is 1.2 bar. Wheres the cheapest place to buy the stiffer springs from? Found the actuator for £100

you have to get the spring kit from Forge, about 25 quid i think. You could probably use the yellow spring or stick with the green one
yeah wasn't too sure if you could get them anywhere else cheaper, what spring you got in at the moment?

got the standard green one, going to take the yellow one with me when i have the map tweeked just incase i need it

Need some help with this again Im really confused as the forge actuator rod is quite abit shorter than the standard, so I dont know if this is right?

Mine was no were near the end when i fitted mine, if that is as far as it goes (bearing in mine it should be about 2-3mm short anyway for preload) and you have made sure the wastegate is opening and closing fully and easily i would contact forge with the pictures you have posted

Sorry I've taken so long to reply but mine was the same as GymJunkie's, nowhere near the end. I'd definitely contact forge, did you buy it brand new?
Thanks both of you I wasnt sure if it was right not, I've contacted revolution 247 and there sending me the right rod plus the two other springs I ordered and forgot to send lol
Woo got this fitted now and its so much better that the standard actuator, what spring have you got in atm David, and whats it boosting to?

What is the boost pressure set to - if you fit the stiffer spring and the boost pressure is set below the yellow spring level it will overboost and instantly cut the power and go into limp mode

Jack mines got the stiffer spring in (can't remember the colour now, yellow?) and it boosts to around 24psi

Cool man, Im suprised yours boosts so high with that spring in, I thought its only suppose to boost max of 15psi.
