I just wondered if anyone had a problem with their gear on semi automatic grande Punto constantly slipping
To cut a long story short, I had a clutch change at a garage (allegedly) because I can’t check whether it was done but nevertheless I paid up as agreed. Took the car away and few days later the original problem started which is gears not changing. Took it back and was told that it was the actuator so again I got a refurbished actuator as recommended by the garage which was put in. The problem I got now is that the plunger between the clutch and the actuator keeps slipping out and I had to manually adjust it every few miles for the car to drive
I’ll be very grateful if anyone can suggest what it might be as I can’t afford to keep having a breakdown every few days. Although I am able to sort it out temporarily to get the car going but wondered if there is something fundamentally wrong with either the clutch or the actuator?
