Drivers that go around with their fog lights on are just making a statement "Hey... look at me. I've got fog lights on my car" .... sad t**ts
I thought you had to have your dipped lights on as a minimum for you to switch your fogs on, but I could be wrong since its after 11 o clock and I'm off to bed, so I can't check.
You do on a Fiat, thank feck.
You don't on lots of Japcrap/French cars it appears. Saxo crew seem to prefer sides/fogs here.

The reason fog lights are useful on country roads in adverse weather (ie fog) is they help show where the road side stops and the hedge etc begins as these roads very rarely have kerbs to use as line of sight.

Oh yes in Fog/snow heavy rain i agree but i was referring to those using them when on main beam or headlamps in good viability
