Just jet wash the underneath every so often...
easier said than done!
I'm in half a mind to take Fizzle off daily driver duties whilst the roads are wet and salty.

'm only ever in "Half a mind"![]()
Euro parts are doing very cheap head light bulbs at the moment, I was thinking of treating Fizzle to a new pair. Is it H4 that he needs?
In other news his wind deflectors arrived yesterday, put them on last night. They seem to have reduced wind noise and have stopped the window rattling too.![]()
I keep thinking of ways to try and reduce wind noise. Any recommendations, at 80 with all the vents closed its still really quite drafty...![]()
I do a lot of motorway journey driving, even at 65/70 wind noise is evident, I know its normal I mean she is a Panda after all, I was just wondering if there are ways to improve deadening of wind and road noise.Don't have this problem in Pippin -- although I quite like fresh air on my face, when driving: so the driver's vent is always open. Have you tried driving a tad less speedily, perchance...?
H4 p45t, IIRC. Get some 55/60w ones. Very nice... -- I have some Ring ones in Pippin; and will be installing another pair in Betty, tomorrow...!![]()
:yeahthat:Getting a bit cheesed off with not having any illumination on the heater controls and switches whilst driving about in the dark, even with the interior light on I can't make out what's what :cheesedoffsmiley:
:yeahthat:
I have lights behind my fog light/rear wiper etc buttons but none behind heater controls, can you install a light behind them?
I have a bunch of LED strip lights that are currently under my desk, they work on 240v main obviously at the moment but I'm wondering if I can wire them behind at 12vpretty sure there was never any provision for illumination,
not sure getting a bulb in there is really feasible,
how about one of the little LED "snakelights" that go in the ciggy socket..??,
Charlie
