A bit of background, I've recently bought a new panda which is at home 260 miles away in Wales as I'm still in Uni, so having bought all the parts to install a new radio my father has been trying to fit a new Sony head unit and I'm going off what he's told me.

I bought the head unit (which came with its own cage), the fascia and the steering controls adapter which is all I thought would be required to fit the new radio.

I read an older post saying after taking out the old cage the fascia should just clip in... The fascia I've bought doesn't have any clips or anything to clip into.

And the cage has nothing for the little metal prongs to bend down into in the dash.

So with the fascia not being able to hold itself or the cage in or the cage hold itself and the fascia on like it did in my old punto, I'm wandering whether I've missed out on some part I should have bought.

Here's the picture of the fascia resting in place (the little tray that fills in one of the slots has been removed.)
