Hi there all.

Has anyone here fitted a turbo on a Stilo 1.6?
I am thinking about fitting a turbo to my 2004 Stilo 1.6 16v.

What are you opinions, views or technical advice?

i agree with that, but at the end of the day its a fiat stilo. is it worth it? whenever i see these questions it always comes accross as they have a grand to spend and they think its easy to slap one on- which often isnt the case.

how much bespoke stuff would need to go on it? then getting the ECU to work? then theres uprating of engine internals and brakes.

the reason why i think the above is people asking the question never say they are making a track car or rally car, these are sounding like road cars.

Why turbo it when you can NOS it if you want to be in fast and furious?

sorry if it seemed like a rant, i got cut up badly this morning

Thanks all.

By no means did I think it would be an easy job, I was just looking for others views on the idea.

I am in the market for a turbo car to do up but I will be keeping my Stilo. I will finish up with the last of the mods I want to do to it except turbo and then start on the new car.
