Fibreglass MDF Baffles.

I've recently made some MDF baffles to increase the depth on my front speakers in my Fiat Mk2. I'm going to screw these into the original speaker fittings. Obviously I want a decent fit and want it to be solid so i've been advised fibreglass is the way to do this (to seal around the MDF and plastic)

Anyone done this before? Any tips hints or tricks? Obviously I don't need much!

Ok i would like to add that you would be much better off cuting away the Plastic behind the OE grills. Then bond the baffles to the door.
This will give you a much more solid mount. You will be amazed at the difference it will make.
