Went in the garage today and have joined the FIAT UK Stilo Club. Basically, you fill out a form and the dealer sends it off to FIAT UK, and you get a little brochure with all the Stilo discounts, including:

• Winter Service & Check for £59.99 (includes Oil & Filter change and new wipers)
• 5 disc CD Changer FULLY FITTED for £184.99!
• 195/60x15 tyre fitted and balanced for £39
• 17" wheel set with Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres & security bolts for £699
• Air Conditioning Service for £19.99 (all components checked and air conditioning system treated, not regassed).
• Alarm fully fitted for £164.99
• New Battery fully fitted from £38.99 (1.2)

Membership is free too.

I've got my car booked for a full servive at Wentane Stockton next week so will ask about that while im there.

Saying that about the time to get stuff from fiat I requested the accessory brocuhure about 6 weeks ago.. ive had 2 calls from some bloke at fiat asking if ive found it useful.... each time I say ive not even recieved it.

Funny old company.

Just can't imagine that somehow
I wonder how they "treat" the air con without regassing it
Or does "treated" mean take the car down the pub for a treat?

I got the form a few weeks back, just need to fill it out and hand it back to the dealership.

Ive been quoted £205 at Wentane for a servive with the car at 54k, I asked about the pollen filter and they said thats incuded and if I dont want that to deduct £10.00!

I think treating the aircon is deoderizing it... dont they sprat an antifungal agentinto the system?

Just get a form from your dealership - fill it out, and hand it back to them.

Here's what the book says:

Level 1 Air Con Service includes

1. Check operation of heater controls
2. Check internal blower speeds
3. Check pollen filter for condition (if applicable)
4. Check evaporation drain
5. Check condition & tension of drive belt
6. Carry out air conditioning treatment (6 month guarantee)

All for £19.99

Level 2 Air Con Service includes

The service includes all of the above checks and actions together with the following items:

• Check, drain and renew refrigerant gas
• Check temperature of refrigerated air in cabin area
• Check system hoses/joints/components
• Check cooling fan operation

The price of Level 2 is different between garages; Alan Kerr in Paignton want £59.99 (which I think is really good value). Might book the 5dr in; that's just had a mobile service for £50, and it doesn't seem good at all.

Just had a 5 disc multi changer fitted to my MW, according to the dealer they only made a few quid out of the Stilo Club deal... apparantly it should have cost £300+

You may have to push your dealer, EMG Fiat in Cambridge refused to acknowledge the Stilo Club even existed!!!!!!!
