Hi all,

I have a fiat stilo blue 1.4 6 speed.

When starting the car when cold (first thing in the morning for example) it struggles to start, engine pitch is very low then it kicks on after a couple of seconds as you would expect normally.

Checked battery and even left on charge overnight a few times. Swapped all 4 coils. No change.

Car starts fine when warm or previously been started recently. Any ideas?

Have only done 58000 miles, had belt changed and serviced regularly.

Thanks

Could be a few things really:

faulty battery - not holding charge properly
faulty alternator - not charging battery properly
starter motor could be on its way out

finally - cam sensor... - when these go, the car will only start when warm or has to be bump started when cold.

br,
Dan.
