I have a Fiat Stillo. It has one month mot left but there is an issue with the airbag light being on.

Pretty sure it is an issue with the wiring loom having shorted in places.

Any use to anyone before I scrap it.

Rest of car is OK ish

Stilo electrics were legendary..

But a few simple things to rule out..

Did you get the error code to see what the system thinks has failed ?

Yes. It said something about the squib pretentioner shorting to ground (from what I can remember)

I stripped the wires near the passenger door footwell and there has definitely been a shorting. Some of the wires have melted together. I think I'd have to trace it all back but it seems like a big job
