Loaning the car off a friend, the car itself has been sat on his drive for around 9-12 months.
I drove the car around for about 45 minutes to let everything un-rust and get back into working order, but then I noticed I was struggling to get it into second gear, then a few minutes later it was third gear, now it's just all the gears.
The clutch itself feels loose and I don't think it's working any more as I can move the gears freely when the engine is off.
Is this an issue because the car has been sat still for nearly a year or is it just sheer luck that the clutch has gone?
It's one of those hydraulic ones, if it is a new clutch, how much are they looking to pay?
