Please help. I have a fiat delphi F199FL radio that needs a code. What device do I need to read the eeprom?
Member @Davren can supply most Fiat radio codes. Check with him for your specific radio and if he can provide a code then all you have to do is
Thanks for your response. He has not answered my query in another post though I've asked twice. He's answered others after me in that post and I've seen him state earlier in that post that he doesn't do eeprom reading etc. I need a little guidance from somebody who does.
Sorry.... I don't have codes for Delphi radios, and I don't know what device you need to read the eeprom. Thanks for your response. Hi. Thanks for your response. Yeah I thought that was the case. I've seen a few people give advice to others with a delphi radio giving them the code after the person posts an eeprom dump so I thought there must be somebody who knows how it's done if they can do that.Sorry.... I don't have codes for Delphi radios, and I don't know what device you need to read the eeprom.

Thank you so much for your reply. I really appreciate your help. Is there any chance you could either give me a link to the reader or tell me the make and model so I can get one. Thanks again.I bought a simple USB EEPROM reader + clamp from Amazon that allowed me to dump the ROM without desoldering it from the main board. You can upload the dump to a forum like Digital Kaos where you always have people helping you out with a code within a few hours.
Thank you. You're a life saver!! . I will buy one of these and let you know what happens. Stay tunedI got this one: https://amzn.eu/d/8w8zx27
Just look for an CH341A. Be sure to get the clamp as it wil prevent yoy from having to desolder the unit from the PCB. I bought some empty ROMs from Reichelt to do some dry testing (picture with the Arduino) before I used it on the radio. Attached also a nice pic of the PCB with the ROM in between the big chips. It's the one with the 8 legs.
In case you screw up, I have a spare Delphi + amp on the shelve.![]()
Hi. I bought the programmer you suggested, had to find software to use it and have hooked everything up exactly as you have said but getting no readings in the software just zeros with no data. The clamp is on the chip ok because the USB reader has 2 red lights plus the software says its connected and even seems to read the chip but just getting the results I said earlier.. Maybe it's the software version of the program? Maybe it's the settings of the program? I'm not sure.. Here's a few photos of how it all looks. Any more help would be appreciated. Thanks.I got this one: https://amzn.eu/d/8w8zx27

Hi. Thanks for your reply. No luck still.. It definitely connected properly as the led lights on the programmer don't light correctly until it is seated properly.. I may have to just give up with this unit. What price are you asking for your spare radio with postage? I am in Norfolk NR270NW. Please let me know. Thanks.Any luck so far? I'm not a real regular user, here so I just saw your post. I did not have any problems reading the ROM, you have to make sure the clip is spot-on. I used my camera phone to check that the pins were lining up and connected. If all else fails I still have a spare radio with code and amplifier lying around.
