Technical Fiat bravo 2008 heater not blowing right

It's a right pain on these winter night and when it's raining.
The fan is working fine just no air coming out
See pic I found the white bit on the passanger side behind the pull off panel in the foot well
Where is the white thing from and that must be something to do with my crap heater ?

Hi,
you've posted in the "Classic" bravo section,

however - I suspect the part you've shown is a link rod, that controls the airflow flap..
I think you'll find that the airflow is damped down..hence to poor circulation
