Technical 2008 Bravo Heater Fan

Hi All
Sorry if this has been posted before, but having a nightmare with the cabin fan in my 2008 Bravo
Seems to have slowly failed over the last month, often getting it going with a slight tap with a blunt object. Now i get absolutely nothing on any speed.
I have located the fan itself, but due to access issues, have no idea how to remove from the car for inspection/replacement, any suggestions?

Driving without the ability to demist the front window isn't much fun

All fuses checked and seem fine

I lot of swearing and being a contortionist helps, the official way to fix the fan or anything really climate motors is dash out, you can get to it from under the dash from what I can remember but its pretty much all done by feel. it's possible it could be the motor resistor but they usually fail on one or more settings - is it climate control or manual heat you have? climate control has a diagnostic menu that give you a fail code to help figure out the issue
