Hello,
This is my first post. I am looking for help in getting the history of this Fiat Jolly which I believe is a 600. It has been in our family since the 1960s. The family lore is that it was used at the 1964 NY World's Fair to shuttle VIPs around. I am not sure whether it is a 600 or a 500. I would like to restore it. Any information I can get about it is most appreciated. Thank you!
John

Ive looked in my book and there is no mention, and its not really good at the van side of things so Im googling Engine number 100D008
It comes back with
The Fiat engine number 100D.008 corresponds to the 767 cc engine used in the classic Fiat 600 D Multipla (1960-1969).
Key details about this engine:
  • Model: Fiat 600 D Multipla
  • Year of Manufacture: 1960-1969
  • Cubic Capacity: 767 cc
  • Configuration: Overhead-valve inline four-cylinder engine
The Little van seems to have follwed on from the 600

It looks like it fits in the range 1969 to 1975 . In 75 Fiat did make some visitor busses with a similar face.
The closest I have got yet seems so be a 1965 Fiat 600T Van from the shape and colour of the front lights and the grill.
I think your suggestion of its being from 1964 seems right. It is probably have been one of a limited number produced and a very early and rare thing. I shall continue searching and see if I can turn anything up. I would try starting here

Its certainly unusual and a very early form of the later 850T van.
FCA Heritage may be able to help you.

Thank you very much for all this great information. I will order the FCA and continue to research the jolly.
