You told us it starts on a spray.. then runs ok..

So pump is working ok at higher revs

Unused fuel is designed to return to the fuel tank..

You might have more than normal teturning.. so the pressure tails off quickly

Did you get a rail pressure once ticking over ?

The pump works at higher revs but not lower revs.
Only low rail pressure once ticking over
