Technical Fiat 500 pop vibrating

I brought this 3 days ago. It’s a 59 plate 1.2 petrol. When idle after being driven for a few miles, it’s vibrates. I can feel it when I am sitting in the car. I have had the spark plugs and coil pack changed today but the vibration is still there. Are Fiat 500 just like this? Please help!

Just to add - I can only feel the vibrating when the car has stopped and the engine is still running. It’s not coming from the pedals, just a general vibration in the car.

Quite often this is found to be the radiator cooling fan..

If the fan..or its motor are getting tired it will not run smoothly.. and sets up a vibration

Do let us know what you find

If the plastic pipe into the front right of the air cleaner (the big black plastic box on top of the engine) is loose at either end it can cause much more vibration that you might think....worth a check.

Drive a short distance and then pull over and open the bonnet see if anything is moving more then normal or see if you can locate the noise

As mentioned above. Pull up and down on the airbox. If it’s not been put back on properly it will vibrate. Also the air intake screw which joins to the airbox sometimes breaks or is missing which will vibrate the pipe on the front panel.

Get the bonnet up with the engine running. These are the most likely culprits.
