The cd player on my 500 does not work, it will not pull the cd in, it will eject it if I have pushed it most of the way in. I am thinking of buying a second hand radio, this has no 4 digit code with it but Ican get this. Do I need to do a Proxy Alignment to enable the ecu to recognise it or is there some other proceedure I need to do to get it to function. There were 2 cd's stuck in the slot when I bought the car and with a bit of fiddling I was able to remove them but the player will not load a cd back in, if I push a cd in, not fully it tries to read it but as it is not fully inserted it cannot and it does eject it after trying.
