FF playing up?

one thing i have noticed about the forum, whether it be on my machine running IE9 or machine running IE8 or machine running IE7, i can say, visit the forum last night, shut down everything, then go back to the forum by typing the url, so for example www.fiatforum.com/bravo, the page seems to load, but it has loaded the page from last night and i have to use refresh before it displays it up to date.
i get this as well by using links on the forum for threads i have visited, even though i click the link to the thread, it loads the page, but wont display new posts until i do a quick F5.

is this related?

I got this message
Access to the web page was denied
It is likely that the server hosting the web page has been overloaded or encountered an error. In order to avoid causing too much traffic and making the situation worse, Google Chrome has temporarily stopped allowing requests to the server.

If you think that this behaviour is undesirable, for example, you are debugging your own website, please visit the chrome://net-internals/#httpThrottling page, where you can find more information or disable the feature.
Error 139 (net::ERR_TEMPORARILY_THROTTLED): Requests to the server have been temporarily throttled.

maybe im just lucky but i dont have that many problems, ocassionally a 500 error but not much.

also ocassionally the like/dislike buttons dont work for me, and the multi quote system hasent worked for me in ages

EDIT: just tested the multi quote it worked :)

The most common issue for me is it hangs, sometimes for 2 or 3 minutes. Don't get the 500 error very often but the hanging thing does my head in, gave up yesterday ... :(

Edit.
Me and my big mouth. Look what just happened(attached)

i don't get anything at high traffic times takes a second or 2 to load long threads like the grumpy thread but never had any issues.

That day that setting was changed it was perfect for me....

Same for me.

It's been running slow and hanging for months, making it very difficult to post anything. That day it was perfect, then when you turned back on the OPCache and turned off the File Caching, it went back to slow and hanging again.

Really? Ok - I'll set it back then - from the amount of processes spawning, it didn't seem like it had worked - but perhaps that is a red herring. I might also set a limit on them too - although I'm unsure what happens when the limit is reached.

Did you just do it then ben? I had a big hang and 500 server error then
