Right as I said I'll head out to that Garage tomorrow and see if they can help, and as I said Ming according to that ebay link there is 2 different 02 sensors for the front, and the guy won't refund if I buy the worng one!!!!!!

Light switched itself off eventually yesterday.
Might just be as easy to buy the 3 Lambda's form fleebay and justhope that they fit.
As for the rest of the problems then what do I do??

Man they are so cheap ? Back then they were like 50 quid or something. But that was for a proper @Boshe one. And yup front and rear lambda looks like they are the same!

See one thing you could try, am pretty sure the 2 lambda uses the same plug. The second lambda is practically useless and highly unlikly both be ****ed!

Try swapping the plugs between the 2 lambdas where it plugs into the ECU.

Don't want to make you look silly or anything:

SEICENTO 1.1 03/98 –> 06/00 Front OZA527-E19 378 46449401
SEICENTO 1.1 10/00 –> Front OZA532-A3 260 46760867
SEICENTO 1.1 10/00 –> Rear OZA532-A3 260 46760867

Your sei is 2003, so you will need the one that is in bold, that's why i said 2 of your lamdas are the same, try swapping them. As your back one does nothing. If you still don't understand phone that garage.

Read above please.

Right first thing Ming cool down.
I made a note of the numbers this morning, so gonna buy them in a mo.

I also found the peice of paper from last week when I went to Audiowise and got the Diag done, heer are the faults:

1) Random Multiple Cylinder Misfire
2) Lambda Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1
3) Manufacturer Control
4) Ignition Coil A Primrary Secondary Circuit
5) Ignition Coil B Primrary Secondary Circuit

Going out to that Garage in EK in the morning, and found out that a friend of my step- Dad's his son takes his Alfa there when he has problems.

as said mate, that could all be down to the lambda giving funny readings and confusing the ecu into thinking it has a missfire. generally if you have a missfire, you'll know about it, especially if its on multiple cylinders and over both coils!, the car would run like a bag of mouldy potatoes if there was anything more sinister going on there.

whatever happens, there is a lambda fault that will not help anything at all, so if thats sorted first it will make any other problems there may be immediatley apparent :)

id stick the arm in the vice, some sort of punch or chisel and hammer them out with brute force tbh. it doesnt matter if you wreck the old bushes if your replacing them, just be very careful if doing that not to also damage the arms! :)

it's not the "proper way" to do it at all, and no doubt it will cause shreaks of horror, but i know of a few garages that have done them that way because they are too lazy to find the correct tools ;)

That wouldn't work, no way you can take the old metal outter bush with a hammer. Remove rubber then use hacksaw.

believe me, it does work if you are creative where you put the chisel or punch ;)

i've seen it done a few times. the hacksaw method is slightly easier if you have one to hand, but for sheer lazyness, it can be done with hammer and chisel.

nothing beats the correct tools though.

May be on other cars, never on a cento. And I would bet on any value . Set a value and i'll bring my old arms, a hammer and chisel up to you :) .

Btw i got the exact same tool they used in the guide in FF.

I got the tool, can borrow mine, why did you buy 2 lambda?

Ming

Cheers for the offer Ming! just as easy to buy it incase we need to do either the Doblo or Carrie's KA.

Bought 2 Front & Rear, put the number's in a personal message to the guy so can't get the wrong one plus figgured be easy'er to replace both Lambda's.

Saying "I do it this way I do it that way, I'll be quicker at it than you" sort of thing Mark!!

I'm not having a go at either of you here, just saying if you'r going to say that one of you can beat the other, than use the PM system or VM (Visitor Message) each other.

As I said Ming, I'm bidding on the tool so i always have it in my toolbox, and when we need to use it then it's where I can get to it.

thats not spamming as it is all on topic. i then ended the discussion. nobody has said it would be quicker or let's have a race etc, it was about what method would or wouldnt work at all!. i suggested a way to do the job you asked about, ming said that wouldnt work and i then gave reasons as to why it can be made to work, and ming is still sceptical.

if i felt any post (including my own) was off topic, i would remove it as i have the powers to do so ;)

now this is starting to go off topic now though, lol, any further moderating discussion will have to be done by pm :)

back to the topic at hand!! :)
