That you've driven?

Mine gotta be my m8s scoob (import + tuned)

200SX and it was a hand full, back end loves to jump out when foot it planted and even when going up steep bending hills

Never driven anything properly fast yet, rather sucks I've had to put up with 0-60 times of over 10 secs my whole driving life :(

This will change when I pay of the finance on RGZ though. Then the fun shall really begin :laugh2:

For reference though, probably the fastest car I've driven so far would either be a 100hp rather old shape Polo (brakes needed to be seriously upgraded) or horrible 1.8 Mazda 626. The latter handled like a boat and the steering was like an arcade game after any force feedback had been removed...not good

to be honest with you guys, the mr2 and the elise was the fastest capable cars i've driven, but never got them past 80(down to the fact, that if i crashed them, it would be a bit of a job explaining to my dad and the client why), however, the wifes old stilo was another matter, and the current motor nearly matched that when catching up with marty on the way down to perth!:smug:

My previous car was a Mitsu Legnum VR4 - 4wd grandad car with a 2.5 V6 twin turbo under the bonnet - it shifted...had about 300bhp and was amazing to drive, yet apart from a slightly bigger exhaust it didn't look anything until you put the foot down.

I miss it dearly but the Bravo is also very good to drive...just in a different way.

I'm also a sucker for practicality and I really loved my Citreon Berlingo - but I wrote that off as well after rolling it down a hill.

Previous cars - the Seat Ibiza Cupra - oh man that was amazingly good. The Renault MeganeSport 225 was also nice...

My wife has a Ford S-Max and I have to admit to enjoying driving that as well...not the 2.5 petrol but it is a really nice car to drive - it is the family bus.

Never driven a Scooby or Evo but would like a shot in them.

It depends on why you have bought the car (or are in the car) - if it is practical stuff then the requirements are different and could make it the best car you have ever had...if it is for some sport and speed then the needs are different again...

Fastest 'car' I've driven was a Lotus 78 F1 car :cheesy: although the Pilbeam Judd hillclimb car I had a few laps in was also a smidgen quick (y)

However, best road car I've driven would probably have to be a toss up between an Integrale 16v or the short wheelbase UR Quattro. To be honest I can't choose between the two...... Quattro for the engine noise and the Integrale for the 'warp speed' loud pedal and seemingly unending grip :smart:

mine was the sierra sapph cossie, stunning car to look at fast in the dry, lethal in the wet and still able to get kids in the back.

Fastest car ive driven is an Ariel Atom, then a Evo FQ330, both were fun but the best car in a strange way was my MK1 MR2 supercharger conversion as it was my first rwd with power all of my own:devil:, the wet was fun :banghead:

I used to work in the motor trade and its all relative to the age.

The first Quattro LWB was an awesome car in the early 80s. The Imprezas and Evos would **** all over it now, but back then it was a beast.

I have driven all the Mercs and Porsches, but the most fun was the Manta sideways in the forests.

Cheers

My mate used to work in a garage in Fife, its now gone, called MV Turbos where he had a 4x4 sapphire cosworth bored out to a 2.4 with 450bhp so he rang me up when his boss was away to take it for a spin. After driving it all i could say was thank **** for headrests, the acceleration was just mind blowing.

I'll bet it was, I've always wanted to have a shot of a cossie, opportunity has never arisen so far, and with them getting very rare now, i dont think i ever will.
